Sex this Blue Acara and Sajica

Sajica at 3 inch, and Blue acara at about 4 inches

Female Sajica, but could you get a better pic of the back of the dorsal fin on the Blue Acara?

Yeah I figured the Sajica was female, I heard they got yellow in the fins. And I think thats about as big as shes gonna get.

I am not completely sure, but I think the Blue Acara is a female. Its a bit difficult to tell.

me too . . . finnage looks rounded; on the pair I had, the male's dorsal and anal fins were longer and pointed

Yeah I kinda figured the Blue Acara was female. I dont think shes getting any bigger either. Got her at about 3 inches and in 7/8 months only grew and inch and stayed that way.

I estimate the fish is almost a year old.
