I've been watching this fish closely as it has grown to try to determine its sex. I may have been watching alittle too closely, so I wanted to see what you thought. In the beginning I thought for sure female, then male, but now it seems the blue spangling has been fading and the dorsal find looks like its more solid black now then it was....

I agree with female. Based on the dark dorsal fin and lack of spangling in the unpaired fins and caudal fin
