Ive had people say female and male. So what do yall think? 4.5-5" eyed. Has grown 3" in 3 months

Not 100% sure but from the vent it looks to me like a female. Ime most sa and ca cichlids are normally acurately ventable when they pass 4".

Ok thanks, i was hoping for a male (obviously like everyone else) but ill grow her pit and see how she turns out. Shes an f1 umbeeking line so she will most likely look good haha

Here. It has red spots running along the top of its head and every once in a whileyou can see blue freckles on the cheeks.

Tough call for me although the dorsal is indicating it is a lady. But the vent looks pretty clear IMO.
