ordered 2 female istlanum and just received them I'm 100% positive one is male, but not so sure on this one. This one also came in very emaciated not sure if it's going to make it, quite disappointing.

That's only the questionable one and I agree, I don't think it will make it. It was trying to eat for hours, but couldn't get anything I tried to feed it down.
With the lighting being so bright its hard to tell what the sex is for sure.. My feeling is its female as males tend to have a lot more blue in the fins. However, it doesn't look very healthy! I'd raise the temperature of the tank along with the aeration and half dose the tank on Melafix... that should increase its appetite.
Yeah she made it and I was able to grab a female from first pair around the same size with much nicer color.
