Sex this RD

Was pretty sure this fish was a male and was showing the beginnings of a kok however lately I have been noticing a very small black splotch on the dorsal maybe any guesses? Ive included several pictures any help is appreciated.

I am interested to see what people think. I am in the same situation, but my RD usually has a triangle shaped tube sticking out.

triangle would have a V shape right?
then it would mean "V" for male right? Like ppl say?

V or U. It isn't simple like saying so..

If you got a Triangle tube then it is a female.

Male is long thin tube, female is wide fat tube.

OP. That is not a female black spot on the Dorsal. Females black dorsal is big and bold

Yeah it is a V shape. I can usually always see the tip of it. My male jack dempsey has the same shape to the tip of his tube as my RD

no. I dont know. Your fish is tiny barely fin trailers..

But the body shape tapered to the rear and somewhat sculpted a bit. That is male sign.
females usually rounder frame with smaller rounder tail. That is a males tail by the way it's flared also.. Just my 2 c
