Sex This Red Texas

To small to sex. If I had to guess I'd say male. That one looks promising. There are a lot of people selling red texas that have no chance of fading but that one looks like the real deal to me. Take good care of this one.
Looks male, but not sure w/o venting the fish. And yes there are a lot of people selling these fish and most will not fade, BUT mine are fading from my batch of fry. 
Your fish looks very promising, you can see the red coloring starting to come in.

Ya, there pretty much a gamble whether or not they will fade. When you don't know where they came from. I got him pretty cheap so its not going to break my heart if he doesn't turn into a screaming red fader. Its getting more and more red the closer I look... I will post some pix when i beef it up a bit. That damn lfs hardly fed there fish. To keep them from growing and so they would have to clean the tank less often.
