i was wondering i am trying to figure out if i have a male or female flowerhorn my fish seems to look like a female with black in the dorsal fin and not much of a hump on the head but i;m noticing a small curved point coming from behind the anus i have never seen this before but it's not the tube like i have seen in the female pics could this be the male sex organ i'm seeing?

this comes to a sharp point like a tiny curved thorn he is digging out a round hole in the sand and spitting sand at the glass i thought it was a female that maybe was getting ready to lay eggs and was digging a nest this point that's coming out i have never seen it before but i hope it means a male
At first I thought my texas was a female bc it dug nests as well. I'm not fairly certain it's a male b/c he's starting to get a kok and because the vent sexing suggests male to me.
