sexing balloon mollies

I was wondering if anyone could help shed some light on how to sex balloon mollies? I know males are suposto have one fin on the bottom near there tail, and females two, but all 12 of mine seem to have male and female parts? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place? I originally bought them to feed to my Nandus but I was thinking of keeping them to breed as feeders as after a week there was already fry swimming around.

Female is on the left, male on the right. Yeah, these are platies but they look the same as mollies for this purpose. Male mollies also tend to have a larger sailfin on top.
