Sexing Blood Parrots

Just picked up a pair of Blood Parrots last night at my LFS. I was hoping to get something nicer for my newly up and running 135er but the wife say them and feel in love. I was wondering if anyone knew how to tell what sex they might be? No pics yet I plan to put some up soon.

Almost impossible unless they start breeding.

Only way is to witness them breed or a close up of the breeding tube.

Happens to me, I hold a mirror in front of my parrot tank, and it turns like aggressive and starts to dig the gravel, but after a while I just see a little short tube sticking out, no long tube, so I'm guessing it's a male..correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!

The females will eventually lay eggs. Mine has never laid eggs so Im pretty sure I have a male, plus he is huge and I've had him a long time so Im pretty sure he's a male.
