Sexing Brasiliensis???

My lfs has a tank full of geophagus brasiliensis at about 2-3 inches. Im looking to get a male but I have no idea how to sex them. I was told to look for the biggest and most aggressive one in the bunch since I cant tell the difference, but I dont know how accurate that is. Also the are selling them at 1 for $13 and 3 for $26. Is that a good price. Im only looking to get one and I dont have room for 3.

Young Geos are really hard to sex. Your best chance for male is the biggest, pointy fins, and most spangles. These are the ones everybody buys up first so be quick. Id say get 3, grow em out a little and pick your favorite and sell the rest.
