Sexing dovii

Hello, posting this for a friend. Wanting to get people's opinions on what sex this dovii could be? Thanks

Looks to be a female, but I'm not too sure on this one, since it's a juvenile.

The photo on the top right looks more male, notice the blue spots on the gill.

Most male dovii really start showing color even at 3 inches, perhaps IF this dovii was male it could be a late bloomer !
Increase your amount of WC and feed that sucker some good quality cichlid pellets, make another thread in a month.
