how can i tell? is it as easy as sexing rats?

ill just say that i asked from 2 girls and 3 weeks later i had 8 in the tank.

yes it is... if you pick them up from the tail the males parts will be furhter apart then the females. hope that helps.

here you go, just get the two but make sure you take out the father when the litter comes and once the babies has fur and stop feeding on the mother separate the males from females. If you want more litters i suggest using the first breading pair so they can be healthy.

Flip em over and look at there bottom if theres two holes close together its a female, if u have a two holes far apart and possibly a scent gland (atleast in hamsters the males do) then its a boy. 2 weeks or older would be best.

yea. i asked for a female and i believe the gave me a male. i got two from petsmart that are supposedly males. all three of them i have are the same sex, i know that much. i'll have to check to see if they are males or females.

Finally got to checking them. Just been so busy lately. They are all definately males. I guess next time i ask for a certain sex, i should check it myself before i buy it.
