Hmmmmm usually i would say male if this is under 5" fish but if its already large and still has spots all the way down the jaw i might me willing to bet on female. Vent!!!

well the fish is around 7-8". i have never vented a fish before so some advice on that would be appreciated. I was hoping female so i could find a nice ebjd to breed with it.
