sexing jags

im going to be buying a few baby jags cichlids at the weekend so i was wondering what i should look out for to get a male and female the ones im getting are around 3-4 inches

pics of both sexes would be a big help

Males have less blueish color spots on the gill plate than the females. Once you start to really check them, you'll see what I mean!

it's really hard to sex jags at that size but males usually have more blueish fins and females have more bold stripes but this isn't always 100%.
