I want to get a couple jags, but really want a pair. How long until they reach sexual maturity, what are the physical differences when they are young (maybe 2-3 inches) if any at all? If I manage to get a male and a female when they're young do you think they will pair up? and when they're young is there any way to tell how pretty they will be when they are bigger, patternwise and color. Also if you have pics of small/young managuense cichlids please post pictures if you can so that I can have a visual reference to go off when selecting my fish. Thank you!

You won't be able to sex them until they start to hit sexual maturity, that's when it gets a little easier. Below is a picture of an adult male (on the left), and adult female (on the right) as you see males will get more of a spotty look where as females don't.

As for when they're young here's a picture of juvenile Jaguar cichlids...
