im thinking male . About 9 inches . Also this Salvini always try’s to breed with him and I’m pretty sure the Salvini in female if that helps. Also this flowerhorn X Texas tried to breed with him once and pretty sure it was a female

The large nuchal hump is a clue, but the real giveaway is in the first full body photo of him. you can see that his breeding tube is down and that it's long and pointy.

Definitely male.
