Sexing my Cichlid Chip.

This is chip, I will just say she. Shes in qt now and will be living with my loaches.. Wouldn't mind getting her a buddy, Would help out a lot if I was fairly certain its a she. Any opinions welcome, and thank you for your time.

Even though the poop isn't white, the fish is still looking a little constipated, likely from overfeeding. I wouldn't feed for a day or two and cut back on how much you are feeding.

is it not good to have them look fat like that? most of my fish look like that. does that mean im over-feeding them?

lol I knew chip was a chick! My cons, are pretty fat as well, I perfer a fish that eats well and is a little thick MHO though.

Chip eats blood worms and a 50/50 mix of hikari gold and NLS cichlid food. She eats probably her own body weight
