Anyone have any tips on sexing cichlids? I have two RD x Dovii that im trying determine. They are 2-4" range is this too early to tell? What characteristics should I be looking for to tell the difference one is bigger than the other and hyper aggressive suspecting it might be a male but not really sure. I have posted pics under another thread labeled "Red devil x Dovii pics" but im afraid they probably wont be of much help. Both fish show blue in the leading edges of the fins and some slight speckling in the caudal and anal fins. not much coloring yet other than that. This description is the best I can do for lack of better pictures. Any opinion is greatly appreciated...

Sexing hybrids is difficult because you never know what the result will be. Your best bet is letting them reach 6-7 inches and venting them.
