Sexing my KKP can anyone help give advice

Hey there I have a KKP among other subadult fish I am trying to sex out.I have read various articles on venting but, to me I cannot tell the difference.This KKP is about 4.5 inches and has some sort of genitalia hanging. It doesn't look like a V or U shape.Any advice on this and future venting would be most appreciated .Thank you

If there is a spike hanging near the anal fins then it is a male. If not, it's female. Sounds like it is a male

Females can hang out too, especially before they lay eggs. Can you get a better/closer up pic of the vent from the side?

Looks male so far but try to get pictures of the tube.

that looks like all my male kkps... probably male.. in my experience fish with a head and fin structure like that are usually males

Thanks I have determined it is a male.The tube is more spike shaped.

with out looking the tube, his look is a sculpted male look.
