Sexing my L273 Red Titanic

hey everyone wanted help sexing this “guy”. I’m new to this specific line of pleco. I know males are generally prettier as natural way of attracting females but I ve seen some males that look similar to females in the L273 family and don’t wanna lean any particular way as I d like to purchase the opposite sex soon while they’re still available to me.

Wish I could help. From what I read males are more colourful and have longer extensions on the tail fin.

I believe it’s between 7-9 inches now (eye balling) possibly bigger I will try to corner it today and get actual length
