you sure it aint a male cuz i see a tube that looks like it is pointed like a male and males have a lack of bars sometimes in red terrors the males also seem to be a green gold red and the females seem to get that intense red. just a educated guess from what i can see and find in youtube vidios of them breeding

No pearls at the fins and tail and the black coloration at the front half of the dorsal fin suggests this is a definite female... and agree with the previous posts: 'No Bars' is quite strange.

Black anterior dorsal fin suggests female. Lack of Bars male My guess female but you will probably have to wait for some more growth. Where did you get your fish?

I'm gonna say female too. Mine was like that at one point until I threw a male in there and things changes quick.
