Sexing my severums

I'm fairly confident that one is male and I wasn't sure on the other. I pulled them out today and got some photos of their vents/tubes/underside. What do you think the sex of these fish are? Thanks

Sure, they are camera shy but here are some older photos

They are both likely males but they still need to put on some size. The males end up with a blue face and dark maroon spots. The females do have markings on their faces but they're lighter and usually the blue background isn't as strong. They tend to be more yellowish-green.

dang, i was hoping that the larger one might have been female. oh well, thanks for the help ryan.
 
Yah bro those pcitures look like males bc of the markings in their faces. Those are nice Severums are they heros sp curare

Yes, but Heros severus are one of the only species of severum where both males and females have facial markings. The differences are very slight and are hard to tell apart until they're large and of breeding age. It's a subtle difference.
