Sexing Ornate issue

Well I grabbed this 16" ornate last night to add to my 3 I already have.. Probably the best freebee fish I've ever got my hands on..
I have 2x 16" females and a 12" male already..

My issue is after I got the newbie into the tank I discovered it had NO ANAL FIN !! It's just a nub like it was bitten or torn off sometime.. Is there any way to sex them without checking out the anal fin?? Can you vent them like a cichlid ??

Can you post a pic of the anal area? I find that makes will usually have a bigger gap if it's missing because their anal fun is larger opposed to if a females anal fin is missing the gal will not be as big.
