hey i just recieved 2 ornatum from Jason FreshWaterPredator, 3.5-4", once again great service , and i would like to know how to sex the ornatum ,pics to come later when they settle in , thank you

Did you ask Jason? I have never kept Ornatum so I don't know if they are sexable at this size. But if they are, Jason would be one of the best to ask.
well im giving 1 to my friend in an hour and he ordered a female and i ordered a male , and i texted jason but no response , i know you cant accuraly sex them but i get get a general idea it would be nice,
I guess you can try venting as suggested above. Balton777 knows about Ornatum too. PM him and see if he can help you. I think he's online now.

as far as being able to sex them, there is no guarentee. as i said before they were my best guess and at the size they are its almost impossible just like trying to sex festae. the group was sent to me as 2 male and 2 female and i split them up, the larger out of the two should be male. but i would choose the one you like best and if for some reason you ended up with the female and your friend got the male then you could always trade down the road.
