After gaining experience with P. scalare for a few years I have aquired some peru altums recently. Does anyone know how to determine the sexe of these fishes? Although the fish are missing the characteristic 'lump' or dome on the head from their behaviour I can tell that at least one of them is male (he's trying to kick my last remaining scalar's ass). But how do you reckognize the female (before she's laying eggs that is...)? I wonder if someone has experience on this topic (and love to hear their advice
