It depends on what species you are talking about. Some you can somewhat easily sex by appearance and some you can't tell very easily.

Based on my Aqualog book the female belly crawler may have some red coloration on her sides and the male maybe not so much. Just a little information.

Anyone ever bred belly crawlers or others for that matter? I think I have a pair that are sorting things out since this weekend. Very curious about that.
