sexing severums

any easy way to sex red severums. never liked green severums but i got some red ones and i think they look kinda cool and was wandering how to sex them. thaanks in advance

Should be the same as for green severums....they are all H. efaciatus...either vent them or go by facial markings/wormings.

Most reds are males tho...females are very rare....not sure why.

I think most of the females are getting culled. I have a friend locally that has a definate female with very little worming and is completely orange. I've seen a couple others around. I suspect that most of them don't turn out very orange so they cull them.

I think they are only selling males so it's harder to breed them
