These pix are crap, I will have to take some better ones after I get back on Monday.... but that is the jag in question.... he/she is about 3" or so and has a nice gold color.... so, any ideas?

Thats not a jag. Thats a yellow guapote (Parachromis loselli). It's a close relative of the the Jaguar Cichlid (Parachromis Managuense). Thay don't get as large as a Jag, but they do get some nice colors to make up for it. I had one that topped off at around 11 inches and was bright yellow with blue all over the top. If they are from the same brood, males normally get larger faster, but this isn't always the case. On a side note, do not combine with Dovii, or Jags. Cichlids do not like simular fish with them.

Well alright then! Gotta love the petstores that mislable their stuff... oh well, still a cool looking fish! And I won't need such a huge tank!! Even better
