Sexing synspillums and ornatums

This is my first experience with both species and I would like to know how to sex the two. I realize that ornatums are new to alot of us, but I am curious to know if anyone's figured it out yet. My syns are 4-5.5" and ornatums are still small at 3-3.5" and it would also help if you could post pics too if you guys can. Thank you

Bump i would love to know more about sexing the ornatums.. Heavy Blue spangles on the body means male is only thing im going by right now..

Pretty much it as far as I know with out venting...spangles on the face too...altho I think they may all start out with them on the face and the females lose them mostly and the males get them on the body.

venting is only way, in the same boat just got a small pair of ornatums in and vendor tried their best to vent them but I will have to wait and see.

i am new to synspilium myself,i am raising some grow outs from a spawn.the male in the pict is solo,and with the female as a pair before he went OJ.he is only 5 inches.she was 4.5 or more.slightly more pointed trailers,steeper head profile for the male is about the only differences i can notice.as the 1 inchers grow out i hope to be better at determining

thanks,those were in the tank before syns pair was purchased.they made short work of the tetras
