sexing trimacs

are these too young to sex? they are about 2.5"-3.5". one is bigger than the other. the big one has a marking under the eyes the small one doesn't.

they are in my 125g grow out.

2 trimacs
1 jumbo pink convict about 6"
2 2.5" GTs (male and female)
about 20 baby pink cons for dithers or food. .75"- 1.25"

Best bet it to vent them. Males = V looking junk and the females = U.

The second, third and fourth pic. does not have any black blotch in the dorsal fin -- an indication that this is a male. A female will have a definite black in the dorsal fin.

seeing pics of Trimacs,..they ever miss a meal? LOL

yea thats the big one. sometimes that one gets black on the bottom fins. the other one always has dark fins. i hope its a male and female but i think they might both be females. one is growing faster.
