I’m leaning male with the thick vertical bars.
If they fade over time it’s most likely a male.

There was spawning in my tank recently don’t know who it was. My guess would be the jags cause they were being affectionate towards each other looked like

Texas and green terror. There’s also an EBJD but he’s too small to breed. Have a look at my breeding thread

I'm guessing both are females. Males tend to have dark spotting around the gills and body while females are usually more yellow with light patterns around the body. How big are the jags?
