Sexual maturity of parachromis loisellei?

At what size do parachromis loisellei reach sexual maturity? and when should I expect to see spawning behavior?

depending on if u get a compatable pair....and loisellei are the smallest and less aggro of the parachromis species....so 4-5 inch is in the mid range of there max size....

Oh, @#%$, my bad I have friedrichsthalli "Yellow Head". I have just been referring to them as Parachromis "la ceiba" but after doing some research have learned the true origin and Sp. name.

I guess this changes things, so do you know about friedrichsthalli?

all parachromis have been known to spawn at 4-5"s , they pair out pretty young. Freddies I believe are the smallest growing of the parachromis if I'm not mistaken. Hope this info helps

MY LA CEIBA PAIR WOULD SPAWN LIKE CLOCKWORK EVERY 3-4 WEEKS @ 5".....I HAD TO MOVE THEM TO A COMMUNITY TANK TO STOP IT.
