SF and Araguaia

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You referring to Azul? The piquiti from Serra de Mesa looks more silvery and almost always have black dots on its side nearer to the tail stalk. The Araguaia seems to be more goldish and have a cleaner and leaner look. The difference could be due to water quality and diet though.

Here in this picture you can see the difference.

"supposedly" one will have more green fins as an adult and Sf will be more "blue" all just a hype and probably means little to nothing but collection point. But I can vouch just for the adult azuls I have and have had they can look different as adults for sure. I have one adult that looks much different than the other ones

but I have a tank of 17 azul grow ous and 2 of the 17 are SF and the rest araguaia and I couldnt find the SFs anymore after 3-4". This one and another in the tank with it are "SF azuls" I kept apart from the rest
