SF Bay Area Quake!

Hey did you guys just feel that lil tumble just right now? i did and my fishes jumped...LOL it was only like 1-2 seconds though it was just a small jolt that from the news say it was coming from near Alamo...4.0 on the scale

it happened around 9 pm...it only last 1-2 seconds but from where im at we all felt it..lol

I'm in hayward and felt it. It was a roller. Funny part was it scared the poop outta my daughter! But, I'll take a 2 second quake over a hurricane anyday!

Hey Liz, We get quakes alot small ones right now and their pretty common...so were abit used to it already. The one thing I hope not to happen even though it is soon to be time for the next big quake over 6-9.0 in the scale don't want a giant crack right under my fish tanks and where im building the huge pond in. The most common right now are 2-5.0 so far

i lived out in california wayyy back and it was always happening..little tremors.. i did not like it...

LOL yea but anywhere we go we have trouble with Mother Nature....out East like in Florida and around New Orleans they got Hurricanes, In the Mid. out in Texas and around the state is Tornado Alley, Out here in the West we got Earthquakes...Asia is like Tsunami setups LOL and like way way up north is all Snowy and freezing and have Avalanches if near a mountain just anywhere we go mother nature if following us with a move that can whip us all out

Here in central NY the worst we get is some snow. A couple days off of work, havent heard of a weather related death in a long while. I'll take some cold over shaking ground, blowin wind, tornadoes or floods any day.
