So I haven't been able to locate these elusive guys in the many months I've been searching. Seems crazy to me with the internet I can't buy a real shadow bass from anybody. Are they illegal? It's just a cousin of a rock bass, which are pretty common up here. So I guess all that's left is for me to plan a fishing trip and try to get my own. The problem is I don't know the laws down south for transporting. I'd get a license for whatever state I plan the trip to of course. Getting it back alive and legally is going to be the trick. I've already chose some potential spots. Unless anybody knows the best spot. Any info would be appreciated. Haven't fished in the south ever. This could be fun. Anything else I should fish for while I'm there? Again I'm not looking for a rock bass. I can get that at any online store. I'm going for an Ambloplites ariommus. Thanks in advance for any insight or ideas.
