The above name is what a LFS has labeled a catfish that kinda does look like a cross between a catfish and a shark, but there is nothing on the internet under that name. Im wondering if you guys know anything about a catfish that is similiar to this. Any info on it would be awesome.

Its definitly of a Catfish variety, but the dorsal fin looks like a Swordtail's and it moves like one too I'm going to call their "fish expert" and see what the heck is going on. I'll let you know what it is tomorrow. I might even buy it because it actually looks kinda cool

Pangasius! LoL Stupid pet stores, they never know anything. I love educating them on their own product.

The guy got frusterated when I asked him about tank compatability, optimal water temp and the like. Right after he gave me a big speech about how awesome they are and how he has a 'bunch' at his house. He couldn't answer any of my questions.

Pangasius was just a shot in the dark. OP can google it and tell us one way or another. I rescued 2 Pangasius and kept them for many years. I didn't have too many issues with them spazzing out but they did eat a lot of expensive food and always had "loose stools"
