Anyone living in the Orlando area has probably heard this story. I used to listen to Shannon Burke everyday. I have hung out with Shannon and SBK before. I was shocked to hear the news, but the more I hear, the less I defend him and the angrier I get. For those of you that do not know what I'm talking about, here is a rundown of the story

just wondering if anyone else liked his show, or has any opinions about the whole scenario.

i would say he was edgy. No one saw this coming though. even his coworkers have been in shock. I've met the guy a couple of times and he didn't seem like that. but then again, guys that abuse women make it a full time job to cover it up and come across as nice guys. its so messed up. his show was really funny and at first i was defending him, but now theres no question. he's going to court june 2nd and it should be interesting to see what comes of it. SBK, his co-host has been hosting a makeshift replacement fm talk show for the middays and he has been doing well with it. www.realradio.fm is the station's site

yeah its pretty hard to believe that he accidentally shot her with such a huge headwound. he was maybe an inch from killing her from the looks of it. if you google shannon burke you can find the actuall 911 call
 
i know they say to stay calm when you call 911..... but if i accidentally just shot someone where he shot her, especially my wife, i would be hysterical!
