When raised together they do fine. I got mine at 2-3" in fall of 08'. Its now a solid 11"+ and could def. eat some of my smaller goldies. He is trained on pellets and market shrimp. Never had any problems with him. I know of a 28"er that is same. They just become part of the school.

Awesome channel cat! Makes me miss my 14"er...

I had a 14" albino channel in with some smaller catfish and cichlids it could have easily eaten, and he never bothered them. He loved his shrimp and pellets.

They're great fish! I tried to pick up two 9" the other day, but they were left sitting outside in a tub with only about 2 gallons of water, in direct sun, for over an hour, and they were dead before I could get them home into clean cool water :irked:.

I just add 13 more small koi about 6" to my pond .My 18" arowana, Kois,Catfish they're get along very well .My pond is located in front my house I don't have to go out side to look or feed them .
