so people....show off your salvinis. that's my 8 inch male salvini. he killed his mate, after spawning. none of the fry survived tho....

What a beast - I'd love to see more like him. Sorry to hear about the lost female. You should try and get another to breed again now that you have learned to be cautious with these mini-guapotes.

well, the only salvinis i can find now are very small. i tried another female once and she was abt 5", apparently he thought she was food....

btw, the yellowish color of the water is tanin from the piece of wood i have in the tank. all i used for the picture was my canon rebel xsi and the built in flash
