Share the stories of intelligent,crazy and funny stuff that your oscar has done, here's mine: my oscar tore up all the moss from his favourite piece of driftwood and stuffed it on to and into the filter intake, to decorate it, i spent the next 10 mins clearing the filter from the moss that clogged up in it. My little albino (3") was being chased by my larger bulkier jack dempsey and I see them swimming really fast all around the tank! Then all of a sudden you see the Oscar swim directly under the heater and into a cave. Then the jack couldn't find him lol. The jack tries to take all food and takes on all competetors for food even though there is plenty! And then the Oscar went took a pellet and hid to eat it lol. Can't wait to see my Jags and growout jack whoop this jacks a*s he is such a bully! He killed like 30 fish!

I had a 12 inch pair that only responded to myself and an ex girlfriend. They would ignore everyone else. The best part was that they couldn't stand my ex. They would splash water all over the place when she went to feed them and when I would feed them they wouldn't eat until I rubbed each of their heads. She is an ex due to the fact that she turned the heater up on the tank one day because she got mad at them and it cooked them.
 
My litle Marlowe has anxiety issues, heh. When I lowered the water in his first tank so I could move it out of the way of the second growout tank, he was totally freaked out. First, he tried to hide in a side-laying pot that was less than half his size, so only his tail really was in it. And then, I guess so I wouldn't "see him", he laid on his side and played dead, for a whole 40 minutes until i had the tank setup and moved him over. He tried the same possum technique under a decoration, but I guess his curiosity won out and he started exploring within a couple of minutes, haha!

Oh yeah, and then I had gotten a t-rex decoration with an air stone, so that every couple of seconds the bubbles open the t-rex's mouth, then it closes. Marlowe would spaz every time it closed for a while, then once he figured out what it was, he approached it slowly, twitching with every closure, but standing(swimming?) his ground until he got right in front of it, then took a bite at the t-rex's snout XD

In the morning, I saw he'd aparently had a fight with the beast and had it turned around from how I had set it, hahaha!

My little albino just did something hilarious! I am feeding and I'm watching him to see where he is and all of a sudden I see him with a Minnow halfway in his mouth and he is swimming into the glass to lunge it into his mouth rofl. He is now just chilling and eating. But he was literally ramming into the wall to get the Minnow into his mouth lol

Didn't you just start fish keeping how'd you loose 30 fish already. Over exaggerating again? I will be feeding my fish in my tank flakes and other pellets the Oscar would pretty much eat all of it but when I pull out the red bag of predator hikari floating pellets which are his favourite. He knows by the bag and then spits out all the food he had and will go crazy for these pellets :) also he follows my finger and can jump for food!
