heh, this has lots of hot buttons:

Tropicals and goldfish, cichlids and goldfish, silver arowanna in a 75 etc etc.

All I can say is that the oscar, if he is inclined to, can take out the silver Aro in a sec. Just keep an eye on that(don't let it get too hungry). Other things you will probably discover as you go :)
 
Thanks for the help but arowana and gar are growing out for a friend...going soon! Just letting you know my plan was to keep jaguar, oscar, jack, and common pleco for the long run! Thats a decent group right?

cool oscar but your tank looks a little cloudy..
 
Jaguar now timid will kill just about everything in a tank that size when bigger.

I suggest in a 75, you can keep the Oscar and JD(some people will even suggest removing the JD). As for a pleco, esp a common one, they make a mess. Your call :)
