shared filtration on small tanks.

I just read an article saying NO! It can't be balanced. But what do you think of them being connected by a pvc pipe?

Easy! Intake on one and the out take on the other. Put a siphon (or 2) between the two tanks. They are going to be next to each other, correct?

Simple U tube over the top into each tank. Inlet of the filter on one, outlet in the other tank. The U tube is full of water and will flow water from the tank being filled by the filter to the other tank being drained by the filter. Bits of food and such may move from the "upstream" tank to the "downstream" one. You may need to relocate "commuters" from time to time back to their home tanks. :)

I have seen this but I didn't think it would work like that. Any links?

2 bulkheads and a piece of pipe to connect the 2 tanks........

i have some extra 3/4 bulkheads in iowa if you need them.
