That's a beautiful collection. It's too bad you're trying to kill them with those golden poison pills.

That's like saying my mom was trying to kill me by feeding me beef due to mad cow. Getting feeders from a reliable source and taking proper steps to ensure that they are as safe as possible will reduce the risk of internal parasites. I deworm my tank every 4 to 6 mths to ensure that all my fish are healthy. To deny them a nice meal once in a while is just as bad imo. Imagine a life eating only dry food. The stress i would be under is worst then death. For the record, in all my yrs of keeping bichirs, i have only lost one congi when he jumped out my tank through the inlet hole in my bracing. Nv from feeders.
