Sharing growth of my new FH and color changes

This guy is 10" I am going to try to breed him to my young female kamfa that has laid 2xs already. Here is his progression. Any ideas as why his color changes on last pics?

Want to say somewhere around 2 months . Do you know what type he is? The color change just has me a lil stumped. I like it, but dont think its permanent?

Okay does anyone know what might be causing him to turn white on some areas and even on his fins???? He is 2 yrs old, is it maybe from illness or just fadng??

Have you changed his substrate?

No, no changes, just have him next to females now.

Maybe its breeding colors.

I don't see any enornous colour change, really. In each picture, the lighting is slightly different and that obviously affects the colours in the photo. The last photo is rather overexposed and there is a strong light source on the right hand side. It is hard to tell any reall colour changes in the fish itself for me.

BTW ... an absoloutely magnificent flowerhorn !!!!!!

this may be due to lighting or progression of growth.
