So, I bought 2lbs of tilapia, and a lb and a half of catfish nuggets, THINKING that I wouldn't be the only one eating it... pfft! It'll just be Zack and I home for dinner tonight, meaning a crapton of leftover fish for Peek (and maybe the cats if I like them enough). I'm not sure she'll know what to do with it, hopefully she'll realize that it's not going to eat her lol I bet the crays will enjoy her leftovers!

I don't like fish all that much, but I do buy bags of talapia/shrimp strictly for them, and yes my kitty gets a nibble of she's lucky.

Didn't notice it had gotten locked... I figured new topic, new thread. I threw the catfish nugget in, and she's too busy running away from it to eat it...
 
In before its locked. It got locked because it had ran its course & was offtopic. I tried a bs thread here. Mods will lock em.
 
Since it pertains to piranhas (feeding mine) this one shouldn't get locked... UPDATE: Peek finally realized that the catfish nugget wasn't hazardous to her health and she ate it. I thought the crays had gotten it, so I decided to vacuum and re-arrange with my newer driftwood, and I didn't see it anywhere. Right now she's hiding till her tank re-settles, and I'm sure after that she'll re-pick her hiding corner. Mike and I briefly discussed adding 2 more this morning, I'm still unsure if I want to do it now, or wait until after we move. Like, the day we move the tank, go run and buy 2 more, redecorate, add all 3 at once... I really think that'd be the best option, considering moving is our higher priority. ALSO, we need to invent a piranha-proof net. Peek bit through mine earlier.
 
When student loans come in: Aug/Sept. We're hoping to take out as much as we can in student loans (10k if we're lucky), and buy a foreclosure. I'd also like to upgrade the tank shortly after that too, and turn the 55 into a community tank.
 
If that's the long term plan I'd wait until new tank is purchased. If you're anything like me though waiting is impossible! I have to have fish stuff yesterday
