Thanks, ya its sad that I only got about 7 feet of the tank in the video another 3 feet are still missing, lol, I have Frontosas, and allot of Geo Redhead Tapajos as the main groups, you see allot more as the video goes on.
Now that's what I call a tank! Beautiful setup. Did you paint the bottom of the tank on the outside to stop the reflection when the rays move the sand?
I have 17 watt 6 total -6500K compact florescent bulb that I purchased at Costco. It actually lights the tank really well. I run two bulbs off a timer which lights the tank 8am to 8pm and they are pefect for normal everyday , then I have 4 bulbs on a switch so when I want more light I turn those on. I also have a good bit on top of the tank and have not cleaned the covers for a while so its a touch darker then it can be. To see my lighting setup look through my thread.
