A finding during my harvesting. A male was spotted carrying eggs for over 12 days. Finding that the brooder's mouth start to get smaller after 7 days, we decide to bring forward the harvesting on the 15th day. To my understanding, there may be unfertiled eggs within the healthy one. This is to avoid the unfertiled egg to affect the healthy one in the mouth of the brooder.
Just to share my harvesting finding on breeding that not all eggs in the brooder's mouth will be fertilized.
Hope this posting will shed some light and may find it interesting for all.
