First post, just thought I share the BDs that I finally got from a local breeder. My dream to have BDs.

Just born and brought back on Sunday, the yoke sacs are still attached, sorry for the red colour, I have a Asian arowana in the same tank and got red lights. Might get some white lights later so can change out.

Very young and small to be moved so early, good luck with them.

The breeder I am getting them from promised that in his experience he never lost one from being moved this early. If I didn't take them home, he would have bought them home to his aquarium the very same day. And he lives further from his pond than I do.

Might have been a good thing that we got our water source from the same place, Singapore being so small and all.

Thanks for the luck! I have everything from nightcrawlers, frozen bloodworms, and preped food ready for when that start eating

They are bigger than my current stable growing motoro, lol. About 5 to 6 inches.

Tiny pups are always fun!...hope they get eating well right from the start for you. Should turn out nice!

Gorgeous pups!! Congratulations
I must admit I would have been very scared of moving them so young.. but....its done and you sound well prepared so wish you all the best

I really like the 2nd pup, love its pattern

How are these doing?
Sorry for the late reply, was in confinement for basic military training.

They are eating fine like pigs. Hehehe

So far the male BD spots have became really pretty and white but there is still have a ways to go.

The female BD spots are becoming Whittier but is going slow, not worried about it because I saw the parents which are really nice.

My motoro is eating fine too but is the target of some bullying and biting. I attribute that to feeding only once daily because of everyone's daily schedules in my home. I expect them to mellow out as they grow up.

Now I don't expect to be lectured on feeding them twice to four or five times daily, I know that much but we'll... Time constraints and getting reliable daily feeding is better than being out in the wild right?

Overall I say they have became fatter now but not really bigger

On and their spines are growing out really long now, I expect to get a stinger or 2 in the coming weeks hehehe.

The male BD rear spots are also seperating compared to when be is just born

The female BD spots is getting white starting from the third ring from the edge. The other spots are begining to turn white too.
