MFK, it has been too long. Thought I'd jump back on and re-aquaint myself with the CA/SA forums and I wound up here. I started a reef tank about 10 months ago and I'm hooked for life, seriously. I can't believe what I was missing. Anyway, I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about.

29g tank, 40lbs LR, 2 ocellaris clowns (forming pair), Aquaticlife 4x 24w T5HO, CPR Bakpak skimmer. -Please excuse the poor quality pics - from my phone.

Tank looks great, a few days to a week I'll put up more pics of my tank, mainly because I should be getting new additions. I'm pretty sure you also have the purple anemone?

Yeah, these pics are a bit old. I've rearranged a bit for the nem so right now things look very... chaotic.

Tank looks nice. I love the quotes you made above about being hooked for life and not knowing what you were missing. So true.

It's like my eyes have finally been opened. :D

hi, how long did it take for the tank wall to cover in that purple (moss) (algae)? and is there anything i could do to grow this stuff?
thamks

I don't recall exactly how long it took for the Coraline algae to take hold. I know it was a few weeks before it started accumulating on the rocks and probably another few weeks before it really started building up on the walls of the tank.

I'm not a huge fan of it on the tank though. I think I'm going to clean it off during my next water change.
