hope you enjoyed this as much as i enjoy my little guy :)

many people, including me, have never seen one either. its a 100% freshwater south american swamp eel. he was kind of pricey but i thought he is worth it. he eats absolutely anything i put in the tank. hes about 10 in long but hes long and skinny like a rope fish. my lfs owner goes to s/a every year and gets fish and he brought this last time. he has another that im thinking about getting so this guy has a friend!

how much is pricy? because that looks legit lol

well not pricey compared to some fish on here but he was $50. he isnt guaranteed to ever get another on though. he was lucky to find this one so he grabbed it up. he has another of a different species im going to buy tomorrow probably.

i was not aware of that when i first bought him because of the rareness of him, but i have done a lot of research since getting him so yes i am now and i will get tanks accordingly.

i am financially and mentally capable. thanks for the info though! have you had one or known anyone that has?

I almost bought a pied-ball morph, so I did a lot of research, but then I backed out at the last minute.. Eventually I'll own one.
